Bible verses to share at sports meetings centered on Jesus Christ
Have you stopped to reflect on the fact that the teachings of Jesus Christ have so impacted the world that time is measured as Before Christ (BC) and After Christ (AD), which means “in the year of the Lord”? And have you considered that the Bible, which gives us the teachings of Jesus Christ, has become the most widely read book in the world? Obviously, countless millions have discovered that the teachings of Jesus Christ work better than anything else to make our relationships better and happier than they would otherwise be.
We are convinced that all true joy in this life and forever lies in the quality of our trusting and loving relationships with our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, with ourselves, with our families, and with others. And that each of God’s commandments is given to us with love to make each of our relationships more trusting and loving.
So what did Jesus Christ teach about relationships and how we should treat others?
John 13:34-35: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Ephesians 5:25: “Husbands, love your wives , just as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for her.”
Galatians 5:22: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faith.” (It is important to understand that the fruit or reward of living in a way that we have the Spirit of God with us; following His teachings and the inner guidance of the Christ Light ‘or conscience’ that is available to us all; is that we will be blessed with greater love, joy, inner peace, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, etc. Satan and his crew may tempt us with tempting but harmful worldly pleasures, etc. as a reward, but they can never bless us with true inner pleasures. peace and with true joy because they have nothing to give, right?)
Ephesians 4:32: “But be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.”
Galatians 5:14 “ For the whole law is fulfilled in this one word: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:36-40: “ Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?” And Jesus said to him, “ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart , with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.
1 John 3:18: “My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue , but in deed and in truth.”
Luke 23:33-34: “ And when they were come to the place which is called a Skull , there they crucified him . . . And Jesus said, Father, a forgive them ; for they know not what they do . And they parted his garments by casting lots.”
(Who but Jesus Christ, after being mocked, scourged, beaten, and crucified, would have prayed, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do?” Isn’t that striking proof of how much our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, love each of us children of God? How important it is for us to always remember that if we pray constantly, with the Lord’s help we can also forgive all those who are cruel to us.)
Joshua 1:9: “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Acts 10:38: “Now concerning Jesus of Nazareth: how God anointed him with the b Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because c God was with him.” ((So Jesus Christ Himself did good everywhere by sharing His kindness, Love, and healing with everyone, so if we want to enjoy relationships like He did, we should do our best to follow Him and keep doing good and sharing kindness, service, and love with others, right?)
Philippians 2:1-4: “Therefore, if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tenderness and any mercies, make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same a love , b being of one mind , being of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility of mind a regard one another more than yourselves, not looking each to your own interests, but each to the interests of the others also.”
Matthew 7:12 “ So whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” (Also known as the Golden Rule)
1 John 4:18: “ There is no fear in love , but perfect love casts out fear. Because fear has to do with punishment, and the one who fears is not made perfect in love.”

Acts 17:28-29: “For in him we live and move and have our being, as some of your own poets also said, ‘ We are his offspring . ’ Therefore, since we are God’s offspring, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like gold or silver or stone, carved by human art and devising.”
Matthew 5:43-47 : “ You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies , bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward will you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more than anyone else? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?” (Isn’t it true that praying for your enemies, as Jesus taught, is the best and wisest way to learn to forgive them, as Jesus taught us to do, to bring us inner peace and improve our relationships? Jesus taught relationship principles that were unlike anything others had taught before—in a far more loving, generous, forgiving, and selfless way. Who else would have thought of such loving principles? Other followers of Jesus Christ have dared to teach these principles since then, when they have tested them and discovered that they “work” surprisingly well—meaning that these principles bring more real joy, inner peace, and loving relationships than anything else.)
Matthew 7:1-5: “ a Judge not , that ye be not judged . For with the a judgment wherewith ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with the b measure wherewith ye use, it shall be c measured back to you . a And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the b beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me remove the mote out of thine eye; and behold, a beam is in thine own eye? a Hypocrite! First remove the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to remove the mote out of thy brother’s eye.”

1 John 4:18-21: “ There is no fear in love , but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and the one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love him because he first loved us. If anyone says, ‘I love God,’ but hates his brother, he is a liar . For whoever does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And we have this commandment from him: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.”
John 14:15: “ If you love me , keep my commandments .”
Proverbs 18:22: “ He who finds a wife finds what is good and obtains favor from the Lord.”

Matthew 5:13: “You are the salt of the earth. But if salt has lost its saltiness, how can it be salted again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.”
Matthew 5:14-16: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:21-22: “You have heard that it was said to those long ago, ‘ You shall not murder , and whoever murders will be in danger of the judgment. And whoever says, “You fool,” will be in danger of the fire of hell . ”

Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or when did we see you a stranger and take you in? Or naked and clothe you? Or when did we see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to me.’”
Ephesians 4:28-32: “Let him who has been stealing steal no longer, but let him labor, doing what is good with his own hands, that he may have something to give to the needy. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth , but what is good for building up others, that it may give grace to the hearers.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you , with all malice . But be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.

For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened. What man is there of you, whom if his son asks bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks a fish, will give him a snake? If you then, being evil , know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him?”
Matthew 7:21-23: “ Not everyone who says to Me , ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven . Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth , and having put on the breastplate of righteousness , and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you may be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
