God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation (Plan A) vs. One Heaven & One Hell Plan (Plan B)

For the forever future of God’s dearly beloved children.

I encourage each of you readers to prayerfully study this article very carefully, so that you can learn to understand just how loving, fair, kind, compassionate, merciful, and even generous our loving Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ truly are. I believe that this understanding will help you to love them even more, and motivate you to build an even closer relationship with them.

As many of you readers may have observed in modern day Christianity, it seems that most Christian Churches teach that there is One Heaven where everyone who qualifies to go there, receives the exact same maximum eternal reward. And one Hell, where everyone else (the majority of all children of God) goes to suffer and be punished forever there for not accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior before the day they died – – – even though the majority of people in the history of the world, did not even have a Bible or even hear of Jesus Christ before they died.  In this chapter, I will sometimes refer to the One Heaven and One Hell Plan as Plan B. Most of you have likely seen the pass-along cards that many Christian churches pass out, explaining that all you need to do to qualify to go to Heaven to receive your maximum forever reward there, is to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior before the day you die – – and it can even be right on your death-bed after a selfish and sinful life,  – – – like the thief on the cross next to Jesus, that they like to talk about in support of this argument or reasoning, that to me does not match the Bible or any of the basic principles of justice or common sense, that God has placed in our inner spirit part of us.

The majority of the modern day Christian pastors seem to teach that all of those who do not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior before the day they die, and all 17 million members of our Christian Church, will suffer punishment and torture forever in Hell. Consider that the first printing press was not invented until 1450 by Johan Gutenberg , and there were very few hand-copied Bibles in the world before that. And most of those few Bibles were in Latin that very few people could understand or read.

I encourage you to pause to ponder on what you have heard from Christian Pastors and on Christian radio, etc. regarding what does it take to qualify to go to Heaven? What do most Christian churches teach regarding the forever future of all of the children of God? – – – such as who will go to Heaven and who will not?

For those that don’t go to Heaven, where do they go?

If they go to Hell, what is Hell like? And how long do they need to stay there?

I have asked many Christians if they were taught that Hell is better or worse than a German Nazi concentration camp?  – – – many Christians have told me that they believe, as they have been taught, that Hell is even worse and that it lasts forever!!

If you pause to really ponder on that teaching and what it means, isn’t it saying that God will treat the majority of His children even  worse than Adolf  Hitler treated the Jews, because they can’t even die and become non-existent in Hell, and thereby be released from the constant pain and suffering. That doesn’t make our Father in Heaven sound like a very nice or loving or fair individual, does it?  So, how could that be a true Plan from our loving Father in Heaven?  Is that One Heaven & One Hell Plan backed by the Bible or by God?

Does that sound like a fair and just and merciful plan that our loving Father in Heaven would come up with for the forever future of his dearly beloved children?

Isn’t it true that most modern day Christian pastors teach that only the select few who happen to hear about Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Savior before the day they die, will go to Heaven, and that all others will go to suffer forever in Hell ?

Can such an unfair Plan be backed by God and by the Bible?  – – – in short, thankfully “No”.

And it seems that most Christian Pastors teach that everyone goes to either the one equal maximum reward in Heaven if they accept Jesus as their Savior either on their death-bed or before, – – – even if they lived a sinful, mean, selfish, and dishonest life of abuse toward other children of God – –  or – –  the one maximum forever punishment in Hell !! – – – no matter how kind and loving they were toward other children of God, and how well they followed the Light of Christ/conscience/inner guidance from God throughout their life?

Considering how much our Father in Heaven, and His Son, Jesus Christ, love each of us children of God; and that they have all power; couldn’t they come up with a better and more fair and love-filled Plan than the One Heaven and One Hell concept taught in most of modern day Christianity in recent centuries for the forever future of all of God’s dearly beloved children?

Does that teaching sound fair or loving or compassionate to you?  Do you believe like we do, that the beautiful song is true, that says “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so”? There is so much evidence of the love of our Father in Heaven and of Jesus Christ in the Bible!! So, how could our loving Father in Heaven come up with such an unfair plan as that? They did not, and if you prayerfully read this article including the Bible verses to back it, and ponder and pray about it, you will start to understand and know that wonderful truth.

Does God truly love each of us as His spirit children,  – – – even when we at times disobey his wise and joy-producing teachings? – – – Yes, absolutely, without any doubt. There is far more than enough clear proof of God’s love for us in the Bible and in our personal lives, if we look for it. Please pause to prayerfully consider on these Bible verses below:

To me, one of the most clear proofs of Jesus’ deep love for each child of God, is how he prayed, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” right after they mocked Him and whipped Him, and nailed Him to the cross! Because he felt love at that time even for those who tortured him and mocked him, that is clear proof that Jesus loves every one of us, as God’s children, isn’t it?

Another of the many clear Bible proofs that Jesus loves every child of God, is  Matthew 5:43-45    “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”  Considering that Jesus taught us to even love and pray for our enemies, isn’t that clear proof that He definitely loves each child of God?

Also, considering that our Father in Heaven blesses us prayerful parents with a deep love for each of our children even when they at times mess up and make bad choices; isn’t that another clear proof that God also loves each of us, as His spirit children, even when we make mistakes and bad choices?

Considering that God teaches us in the Bible and when we are prayerful to be loving and fair, isn’t that proof that His Plan for the forever future of all of His children, must surely be a fair and loving Plan?

Does God reward us as His children for each effort to be good and to get better at following His teachings? – – –  as we tend to believe in rewarding our children more when they are giving more effort to do good?

In what form do God’s greatest blessings or rewards come? – – – – is it mainly in the Gifts of the Spirit – – – of increased “Love, Joy, inner-peace, goodness, faith”, etc. as described in Galatians 5: 22 in the Bible?

Why are we here? – – – in this earth-school and testing period?

Where are we going after we graduate with honors or not from our earth-school and testing period?

Consider this Bible verses from 1 Corinthians 15:20-22:   “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.” This teaches us that the gift of resurrection from the dead is lovingly given by Jesus Christ to everyone on earth – – – not just to a small percentage.

Important questions to ponder on:

Could it really be true that the majority of the dearly beloved children of God, receive the God-given gift of being resurrected – – – just so that they can be sent to Hell to suffer punishment and torture forever?  – – – of course not!

If that were true; for those who would rather just be dead and non-existent, rather than accept the gift of resurrection – – – to suffer punishment and torture forever in Hell, will they at least be given that more merciful option?

If yes, wouldn’t everyone choose that option?

What good is the wonderful gift of resurrection for all children of God through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, if they are just resurrected in order to be punished and tortured forever in Hell?

Would our loving Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ really put such a completely unfair plan together like that for the forever future of all of the dearly beloved children of God?  – – – No, I promise you, that they would not, and have not. If I would have attended one of the typical Bible Colleges that have been teaching the One Heaven and One Hell Plan (Plan B), for the past few hundred years, then I might have believed it also – – at least for a while, but if you carefully and prayerfully study the Bible and ponder and pray about it; you can clearly see that that Plan is not from God, and is not backed by the Bible.

Please prayerfully ponder and pray about these beautiful and encouraging Bible verses from the apostle Peter below, that help us to understand that God is far more loving and fair than that:

1 Peter 4:6 :  “For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.” (Why did Jesus Christ teach that His gospel will be “preached also to them that are dead” if they don’t have ample opportunity to accept those teachings there in the spirit world after they depart from their short earth-school period? Obviously, they would not be taught those beautiful teachings of Jesus Christ after death, if they could not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior there, right?  Otherwise, it would just make them suffer even more, for missing out on the opportunity of learning about and accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior while on earth.

1 Peter 3:18-20  “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;  Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.”

Some people teach that if God truly loves each of His Spirit children, that He would not have wiped out all but a few on earth with the flood in the days of Noah, or whole cities of those in Sodom and Gomorrah, etc. However, if you pause to think about it clearly, those people were living evil and sad lives, and not making any real progress while on earth, and they were teaching their children and grandchildren to also be evil and thereby also not make any real progress; so wasn’t it far more generous and loving of God to move those people through the quick passage of death, over to the Spirit world, where they could be taught further about the gospel of Jesus Christ there, rather than to leave them and their future posterity in the sad state they were in, of perpetuating sinful, sad, and bad ways of living onto future generations?

And consider these beautiful verses from the apostle John in:  John 5:24-25:  “ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.   Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.”

Why do none of the other Christian churches, besides “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints” discuss and emphasize these beautiful Bible verses above that any fair-minded person, can clearly sense as being true and fair and just? And that can help us to all see that our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ are a whole lot more loving, fair, compassionate, and just than has been taught in most of Christianity for the past few hundred years? Millions of Bible-believing Christians, including myself, are convinced that the beautiful teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, match the Bible far better than any other teachings. If you study the teachings of our Church and the Bible carefully; I believe you will agree. Please don’t trust the 200 years of false slander against our Christian Church. Please check out what we truly believe and teach.

Considering how very much our loving Father in Heaven loves each of His children, doesn’t it make perfect sense that He would allow all of His children to be taught further after death, about Jesus Christ in the Spirit World, as these beautiful Bible verses above clearly teach – –  so they could have ample opportunity to accept Him as their Savior there? Don’t you love these above Bible verses that to me and millions of other Christians in our Church, along with many other proof sources, are clear proof that God planned for His joyful gospel to be taught to those who have died without ample opportunity to be clearly and thoroughly taught his pure gospel teachings while they were here on earth?

I encourage you readers to compare the “One Heaven & One Hell” teaching, to the beautiful and fair teachings that many millions of us Bible believing Christians are convinced that God Himself, revealed and restored as beautiful truths, to the young prophet, Joseph Smith almost 200 years ago, as “God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation for the forever future of all of God’s dearly beloved children.

In short, God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation looks like this: (with many Bible verses and other proof sources to follow that support these beautiful teachings)

1. We lived in a pre-earth life as dearly beloved Spirit children of God.

Our Father in Heaven presented His Plan for us to choose to come to earth to receive a physical body, and to learn, and progress and be tested, so we could make more progress and become gradually more like our Father in Heaven, so we could experience more joy. The devil was there in that pre-earth life also and he proposed a different plan, where he said that no one would fail under his plan, because everyone would be forced to obey. The devil was a liar from the beginning, because his plan could have never worked. No one could make any progress at developing genuine love, compassion, unselfish service and other Christlike qualities or experience any real love and joy and progress; if they were forced to obey and forced to do good. How can any good deeds even be called good or be worthy of any reward, if we were forced to do them? Jesus Christ offered to be our Savior, and suffer and die for us to pay the price for our sins, in order to make it possible for us to repent and be cleansed after we would surely make some mistakes and sin while on earth.

The devil convinced one-third of the spirit children of God in our pre-earth existence to follow him, and they were kicked out of our Heavenly home there. They are miserable now, and seek to tempt us to sin and make bad choices, so we will be miserable like they are. Misery loves company. We were taught God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation in our pre-earth life, which is centered on the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and His  principles and commandments that would bring true happiness and progress. We would not remember our pre-earth life, but we would all be given the Light of Christ/conscience inner-guidance system, to guide us and help us to know the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, truth and error, etc.

For many Bible verses that make it clear that we lived as Spirit Children of God, before coming to earth, Click on my article on the Home page called “Power Quotes from the Bible, etc. that help you know you are a dearly beloved Child of God”.

2. Creation of the earth, and the Fall of Adam & Eve:  God gave Adam  & Eve and each one of us the gift of free agency, which is the freedom to make our own choices of our thoughts and actions and kindness or meanness toward others, etc.- – – knowing that a forceful environment could never bring real love, joy, compassion, inner peace, and progress. God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If they obeyed this commandment, they could remain in the Garden of Eden, but they would not be able to make progress which comes by learning from experiences and challenges, and overcoming opposition. The devil tempted them to eat the forbidden fruit, and they chose to do so, which was part of God’s Plan that God allowed the devil to tempt them knowing that Adam and Eve would eventually partake of the forbidden fruit. Power quote: “We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.” Articles of Faith # 2. (from the 13 articles of faith of our Church).

3. Earth Life:  There are important things for us to learn and experience here, by having a physical body during our earth-school and testing period: By dealing with challenges and tests during our earth life; and by learning to follow the Light of Christ inner guidance system directly to the inner spirit part of us; we can learn compassion, love, service, relationship-building principles, etc. that increase our ability to experience real joy and inner peace. Everyone on earth is taught and guided much by the Light of Christ inner guidance system. However, if they reject this inner guidance over and over again; they can gradually lose the ability to clearly feel the inner-guidance. God will not force His teachings and principles on any of us, or we would be mere puppets and slaves, and we would not experience real joy, love, and inner peace. Many during their earth-school and testing period would have a Bible and prophets of God, to give them additional guidance and teachings about Jesus Christ. However, a larger percentage would not. Every child of God is given an inner guidance system, that is called the  “Light of Christ” in the Book of Mormon, that helps us to know right from wrong. Out of fairness and love, every single child of God will have the opportunity to learn fully and clearly about Jesus Christ, and His joy-producing teachings, and accept Him as their Savior – – –  either while on earth, or in the Spirit World after their spirit leaves their body/death.

4. Death may feel like an ending for us, but truly it is an important step forward in the Plan of Salvation for all of us children of God. Remember, you can’t get to Heaven without dying!

5. Spirit World: When you die, your spirit leaves your physical body, and goes to the Spirit World, where much more learning will take place. The memories of your experiences in this life will stay with you in the spirit world. Everyone will have further opportunities to learn and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior in the Spirit world. Many of the best Christian missionaries of all time, are sharing the joy-producing teachings of Jesus Christ with others in the Spirit world now.

6. Resurrection and Judgment:  Every single person who is born on earth will be resurrected, as a gift from Jesus Christ. Death is the separation of our body from our Spirit. Resurrection is the re-uniting of our spirit with a more perfected body that will never die again. After you are resurrected, you will go before God to be judged.  Bible quote:

1 Corinthians 15:20-22  “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.”

7. Everyone will be assigned to one of three kingdoms of Glory, except for a very small number who are given a clear spiritual knowledge of truth, but still absolutely refuse to accept any degree of Glory, so they won’t be forced to accept it.

The Celestial Kingdom (the highest and most joyful reward and kingdom) where our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ, and other devoted followers of Jesus Christ and His teachings reside – – – those who have learned to become the most loving, kind, compassionate, honest, unselfish, etc. by following the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Terrestrial Kingdom:  for people who live mostly honorable and good lives, but who don’t  accept the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Telestial Kingdom: The lowest degree of glory for those who continue in their sinful ways, and do not fully repent, – – – but it is still a pretty nice place, because God loves each of His children, just like He has helped us to also love each of our children – – isn’t that true?  As taught by Jesus Christ, to the prophet, Joseph Smith in March of 1830 below, children of God will go through some suffering for a period of time (not forever) for sins that they did not repent of.

D & C 19:16-19:  “For behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent;  But if they would not repent they must suffer even as I; Which suffering caused myself, even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit—and would that I might not drink the bitter cup, and shrink—  Nevertheless, glory be to the Father, and I partook and finished my preparations unto the children of men.”

Clearly, the wisest choice for each of us, is to choose to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as best and prayerfully as we can all of our lives, because that is by far the most joyful path while on earth and for all eternity; and there is no such thing as sinful and bad choices without some painful consequences? Even if we repent and accept Jesus Christ as our Savior while on earth, we will still feel some remorse and pain over our past sins and bad choices that caused suffering to ourselves and those close to us.

Power Quote to ponder on:

Elder James E. Talmage of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints explained: “To hell there is an exit as well as an entrance. Hell is no place to which a vindictive judge sends prisoners to suffer and to be punished principally for his glory; but it is a place prepared for the teaching, the disciplining of those who failed to learn here upon the earth what they should have learned. True, we read of everlasting punishment, unending suffering, eternal damnation. That is a direful expression; but in his mercy the Lord has made plain what those words mean. ‘Eternal punishment,’ he says, is God’s punishment, for he is eternal; and that condition or state or possibility will ever exist for the sinner who deserves and really needs such condemnation; but this does not mean that the individual sufferer or sinner is to be eternally and everlastingly made to endure and suffer. No man will be kept in hell longer than is necessary to bring him to a fitness for something better. When he reaches that stage the prison doors will open and there will be rejoicing among the hosts who welcome him into a better state. The Lord has not abated in the least what he has said in earlier dispensations concerning the operation of his law and his gospel, but he has made clear unto us his goodness and mercy through it all, for it is his glory and his work to bring about the immortality and eternal life of man” (in Conference Report, Apr. 1930, 97.)

That beautiful quote from a modern day apostle of Jesus Christ: “No man will be kept in hell longer than is necessary to bring him to a fitness for something better.” – – – sounds and feels true and fair, doesn’t it? – – – and a lot like, if you truly love your child, and you are being prayerful, of course God would not prompt you to place your child in the corner or otherwise suffering longer than is necessary to learn their needed lessons; right?

Would any loving father or mother punish their child forever for making some bad choices? We all make some bad choices, and hopefully gradually over time, we learn to make mostly wiser and less painful choices. Would God be any less loving and fair with us as His beloved spirit children, than he prompts us to be with our children when we are prayerful?

This may be the very most important and positive life-changing article in my website, and I believe you may agree when you are done reading it, because these important truths about God’s True Plan of Happiness/Salvation for all of His children helps each of us to better understand just how loving, kind, forgiving, and even generous our Father in Heaven, and His Son, Jesus Christ, truly are; which of course, helps us so very much, to love and appreciate them even more, and desire to be closer to them, and to seek their guidance, love, power, and peace even more in our lives.

In God’s Plan of Happiness for the forever future of his children; we all end up receiving far more than we deserve, but in varying degrees that we qualify to receive, whether we end up in the Celestial Kingdom (highest), or the Terrestrial Kingdom (middle), or the Telestial Kingdom (lowest). God is compassionate, loving and more than fair and generous. He loves each of us as his children, even though we all make some painful and foolish mistakes and sins, just like He has blessed us with the ability to love our children, even when they make some bad and painful choices. There are many scriptures that make it clear that God loves us even more as we choose to follow His teachings, such as “John the beloved apostle” of Jesus Christ. Even though Jesus prayed “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do” after they mocked, tortured, and crucified him; Jesus had more love for John the Beloved and others who choose to gladly follow His teachings and love Him.

Please pause to consider that the more we choose to follow all of the teachings of Jesus Christ during our time on earth, the more real love, joy, and inner-peace we are blessed to be able to experience and feel – – – in varying degrees while we are here. Doesn’t it make perfect sense that there will also be varying degrees of Glory and reward after this life? – – – not just one Heaven and One Hell where a supposedly loving God would place the majority to suffer forever? There are also varying degrees within each of the three Kingdoms of Glory.

Please ponder and pray about these scriptures below, that are some of the many scriptures and proof sources, that help substantiate God’s Plan of Salvation/Happiness for the forever future of all of God’s children:

Bible: 1 Corinthians 15:40-43:   “There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.  There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.  So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:  It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power”.

Bible: 2 Corinthians 12: 2 the apostle Paul taught:     “ I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.”  (note the varying degrees of Heaven in this Bible verse.)

As taught in these Bible verses above; and in modern revelation; there are three different levels of glory and reward and varying degrees within each of those? Doesn’t that sound and feel more fair and loving than the One Heaven & One Hell teaching?

Bible: James 1:22:   “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

Bible: James 2:14 & 17:  “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?” . . . Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”

B of M: 2 Nephi 25:23:   “For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.”   (Many Christian pastors ignorantly teach that members of our Church believe that we will be saved by our good works and obedience to the commandments of God alone, without needing the grace and help of Jesus Christ as our Savior, but that is another false hearsay. We know that we all need our Savior, Jesus Christ, to be saved and receive any heavenly reward in any of the three degrees of Heaven (Celestial, Terrestrial, or Telestial) as you can see by this Book of Mormon verse above, and by learning what we actually believe.

1 Corinthians 13: 2:  “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.”

Book of Mormon (B of M) : Moroni 7:45-48:   “45  And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 46  Wherefore, my beloved brethren, if ye have not charity, ye are nothing, for charity never faileth. Wherefore, cleave unto charity, which is the greatest of all, for all things must fail— 47  But charity is the pure love of Christ, and it endureth forever; and whoso is found possessed of it at the last day, it shall be well with him. 48  Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ”

Are kind and loving families blessed by God with the opportunity to be together forever?

Part of God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation for the forever future of His children, is the fact that God has clearly taught us that it is not good for man (or woman) to be alone, and in God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation, loving and righteous couples and families will be given the wonderful opportunity by God to be sealed together forever by His priesthood power and authority – – – not just “until death do ye part”, as is taught and practiced in all other Christian marriage ceremonies that I am aware of.

Our church paid for a survey to be done in California a few years ago, and many Christians of various different Christian denominations were asked on the survey if they believed that good marriage relationships and family relationships would continue after they leave this life. And about 70 % answered that they believed and felt that good marriages and good loving family relationships would continue after this life, even though they recognized that their particular Christian denomination did not teach that. For those who are blessed with a loving marriage and loving family relationships; I believe that they can sense that a loving God, would allow those loving marriage and family relationships to continue after this life – – – or it would not be as Heavenly of a place to be, would it? And those that don’t have an opportunity to be married and enjoy loving family relationships in their short time on earth, if they live worthy of it, will be blessed with the opportunity to choose and enjoy a loving forever marriage and loving forever family relationships after this life. Isn’t that wonderful news! One of our living apostles, Jeffrey R. Holland, who is a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, said: “I wouldn’t know how to speak of heaven, without my wife or my children. It would not be heaven for me.”  Those who are blessed with trusting and loving marriages and family relationships, can surely understand feeling that way.

Consider these Bible verses from Genesis 2: verses 18 and 21-24:    “18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” …  21  And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22  And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23  And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24  Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”  (Important questions: If God said it was not good for man (or woman) to be alone without his or her marriage partner at that time, and since God is the same yesterday, today and forever; then obviously it will never in all eternity be good for man to be alone; will it? If a husband and wife, follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as taught in the Bible and the Book of Mormon and/or by their own Light of Christ/conscience inner-guidance system to build a truly trusting and loving marriage relationship  and with their children and grandchildren; why would God ever separate them in all eternity? I promise you that “Families can be Forever” – – – at least that is how God intended them to be – –  if we wisely choose to live by His commandments and teachings that build truly trusting and loving family relationships.

At the time when God placed Adam and Eve together in the garden of Eden, they were immortal, and would never die (unless they partook of the forbidden fruit), and were meant to be married together forever. It is still not good for man or woman to be alone or without their loving family members – – – during our time in this short earth-school or after we graduate to a more heavenly place. Doesn’t that make sense and feel right to you – – – as it did to about 70% of the Christians polled? When we are prayerful, we can sense and feel that our loving Father in Heaven would not separate a truly loving couple or family from each other after they step out of their bodies/die? If you are blessed with a loving spouse and loving children and grandchildren; wouldn’t you love to know that we are right about that – –  as we testify that we know that we are by clear spiritual confirmations of these true principles from God?

My wife and I shared a beautiful movie from our Church called “Together Forever” to a group that included about 25 people who were not members of our Church, on May 21,  2024, in Loja, Ecuador. After the movie, we talked further about the movie and some of the reasons why we believe that quality marriages and family relationships can continue after we leave this life. We asked them to please raise their hands if they hope that we are right about that. It looked like every hand went up, affirming their hope that that principle is from God and true.

Consider what Jesus taught us in the Bible, in Matthew 16:16-19:        “And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”     We believe that with the priesthood keys and authority from God, the authority is given to bind a couple and their loving family members together for all eternity.” If you are a loving couple and are blessed with a loving family; wouldn’t you love to be sealed together for all eternity with your spouse, children, and grandchildren, etc.?

I remember that one of our Christian caregivers in our 15 bedroom elderly care home that we owned, told us that her mother told her that in their Christian church, they were taught that they would not even know each other in Heaven after this life!!   Wouldn’t that be sad?  Why would a loving Father in Heaven separate a loving couple or a loving family, or cause them to not even know each other after they die? – – of course, He would not!

If you have not yet read my article on the Home Page of this website, called “Power Quotes from the Bible that help you know you are a dearly beloved Child of God”, please read it now to help you better understand how we lived as spirit children of God before coming to earth, and about God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation from before the foundation of this world, for the forever future of His children.

Below are more scripture quotes that help further to substantiate God’s Plan of Happiness.

Bible: John 3:16-17:  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

(B of M) 2 Nephi 2:14-27:  “14  And now, my sons, I speak unto you these things for your profit and learning; for there is a God, and he hath created all things, both the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are, both things to act and things to be acted upon. 15  And to bring about his eternal purposes in the end of man, after he had created our first parents, and the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and in fine, all things which are created, it must needs be that there was an opposition; even the forbidden fruit in opposition to the tree of life; the one being sweet and the other bitter. 16  Wherefore, the Lord God gave unto man that he should act for himself. Wherefore, man could not act for himself save it should be that he was enticed by the one or the other. 17  And I, Lehi, according to the things which I have read, must needs suppose that an angel of God, according to that which is written, had fallen from heaven; wherefore, he became a devil, having sought that which was evil before God. 18  And because he had fallen from heaven, and had become miserable forever, he sought also the misery of all mankind. Wherefore, he said unto Eve, yea, even that old serpent, who is the devil, who is the father of all lies, wherefore he said: Partake of the forbidden fruit, and ye shall not die, but ye shall be as God, knowing good and evil. 19  And after Adam and Eve had partaken of the forbidden fruit they were driven out of the garden of Eden, to till the earth. 20  And they have brought forth children; yea, even the family of all the earth. 21  And the days of the children of men were prolonged, according to the will of God, that they might repent while in the flesh; wherefore, their state became a state of probation, and their time was lengthened, according to the commandments which the Lord God gave unto the children of men. For he gave commandment that all men must repent; for he showed unto all men that they were lost, because of the transgression of their parents. 22  And now, behold, if Adam had not transgressed he would not have fallen, but he would have remained in the garden of Eden. And all things which were created must have remained in the same state in which they were after they were created; and they must have remained forever, and had no end. 23  And they would have had no children; wherefore they would have remained in a state of innocence, having no joy, for they knew no misery; doing no good, for they knew no sin. 24  But behold, all things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things. 25  Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy. 26  And the Messiah cometh in the fulness of time, that he may redeem the children of men from the fall. And because that they are redeemed from the fall they have become free forever, knowing good from evil; to act for themselves and not to be acted upon, save it be by the punishment of the law at the great and last day, according to the commandments which God hath given. 27  Wherefore, men are free according to the flesh; and all things are given them which are expedient unto man. And they are free to choose liberty and eternal life, through the great Mediator of all men, or to choose captivity and death, according to the captivity and power of the devil; for he seeketh that all men might be miserable like unto himself.”

B of M: Alma 34:32: “For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors.”

Bible: Romans 3:23-25:   “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God”

B of M: 2 Nephi 2:6-8:   “ Wherefore, redemption cometh in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth.  Behold, he offereth himself a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit; and unto none else can the ends of the law be answered.  Wherefore, how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah, who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, being the first that should rise.”

B of M: Alma 7:11-12:   “And he (Jesus Christ) shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people.  And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.”

B of M: Alma 42:22-23:     “But there is a law given, and a punishment affixed, and a repentance granted; which repentance, mercy claimeth; otherwise, justice claimeth the creature and executeth the law, and the law inflicteth the punishment; if not so, the works of justice would be destroyed, and God would cease to be God.  But God ceaseth not to be God, and mercy claimeth the penitent, and mercy cometh because of the atonement; and the atonement bringeth to pass the resurrection of the dead; and the resurrection of the dead bringeth back men into the presence of God; and thus they are restored into his presence, to be judged according to their works, according to the law and justice.”

B of M: 2 Nephi 9:13-15:   “ O how great the plan of our God! For on the other hand, the paradise of God must deliver up the spirits of the righteous, and the grave deliver up the body of the righteous; and the spirit and the body is restored to itself again, and all men become incorruptible, and immortal, and they are living souls, having a perfect knowledge like unto us in the flesh, save it be that our knowledge shall be perfect. Wherefore, we shall have a perfect knowledge of all our guilt, and our uncleanness, and our nakedness; and the righteous shall have a perfect knowledge of their enjoyment, and their righteousness, being clothed with purity, yea, even with the robe of righteousness.  And it shall come to pass that when all men shall have passed from this first death unto life, insomuch as they have become immortal, they must appear before the judgment-seat of the Holy One of Israel; and then cometh the judgment, and then must they be judged according to the holy judgment of God.”

If God liked the “Plan A God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation” better that the young prophet, Joseph Smith, came up  with as described above, couldn’t God implement that Plan instead of the One Heaven and One Hell Plan that so many Christian Pastors teach as God’s Plan for the forever future of all of His children?  As you ponder on that question, doesn’t it start to make you wonder if maybe God did reveal His True Plan of Happiness to His young prophet, Joseph Smith, in order to make the truth be known. If you were God, would you want the unfair One Heaven & One Hell Plan to continue to be taught  in the name of Christianity – – – if it is not true? – – – especially considering that it does not make God sound very fair, loving, or just, does it?

Does a careful study of the Bible, even support that “One Heaven and One Hell Plan”? – – Fortunately, not, and that is great news!   Nearly all Christian leaders teach that God is all-knowing and all-powerful? And we agree with that.  So, God could have designed and implemented whatever plan He wanted to for the forever future of His dearly beloved spirit children, couldn’t He? So, surely, He would have come up with a fair, loving, just, and merciful Plan, wouldn’t He?

My wife and I have a very dear and kind-hearted Japanese friend in California, who grew up in Japan. She and her husband started to learn about Christianity not long after they were married. However, when they were taught the “One Heaven and One Hell” concept, they could not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior at that time; because they were taught that only the small minority who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior before the day they die will go to Heaven – – – meaning that all of her loving Japanese parents, grandparents, ancestors, etc., would be suffering forever in Hell, simply because they did not learn about and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior before the day they died!  – – –  even though they were kind, loving, and good people. Wouldn’t you feel the same way if you were in her position, and were being told that all of your dear and kind-hearted and loving relatives who have died will all be punished forever in Hell, simply because they did not figure out before the day they died, that they were supposed to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior?- – – even though most of them never had an opportunity to even learn much or anything about Jesus Christ during their time on earth?

The prophet,  Joseph Smith, also taught further about the three degrees of Glory or reward after the judgment, in D&C 76:92-98:   “And thus we saw the glory of the celestial, which excels in all things—where God, even the Father, reigns upon his throne forever and ever;  Before whose throne all things bow in humble reverence, and give him glory forever and ever. They who dwell in his presence are the church of the Firstborn; and they see as they are seen, and know as they are known, having received of his fulness and of his grace; . . .  And the glory of the celestial is one, even as the glory of the sun is one.  And the glory of the terrestrial is one, even as the glory of the moon is one.  And the glory of the telestial is one, even as the glory of the stars is one; for as one star differs from another star in glory, even so differs one from another in glory in the telestial world.” – –  meaning that there are also varying degrees of reward and glory within the Telestial, Terrestrial, and Celestial Kingdoms.

In short, in God’s beautiful Plan, everyone will end up going where they are most comfortable – – – to be with people who are most like they are. Those who have learned over time to become truly faithful followers of Jesus Christ in developing habits and attitudes of kindness, compassion, respect, service, and love toward all children of God will be in the Celestial Kingdom – – with the nicest and most Christ-like people. And those in the middle to the Terrestrial Kingdom, and those least valiant and faithful at following the teachings of Jesus Christ to the Telestial Kingdom.

How would you like to some day live in a place like the Celestial Kingdom, where our Father in Heaven, and His Son, Jesus Christ, and all of the nicest, kindest, and most loving children of God reside? However, some individuals, would not be comfortable with that, and they would rather be in the Terrestrial Kingdom, or the Telestial Kingdom, with people who are more like they are. God’s fair plan places them where they will be most comfortable, and fit in the best. What could be more loving and just than that?

In the Book of Mormon, it teaches further about how our words, thoughts, and actions can make us uncomfortable to be in the presence of God, so we would be more happy away from him:  In Alma 12:12-15, it teaches: “And Amulek hath spoken plainly concerning death, and being raised from this mortality to a state of immortality, and being brought before the bar of God, to be judged according to our works. Then if our hearts have been hardened, yea, if we have hardened our hearts against the word, insomuch that it has not been found in us, then will our state be awful, for then we shall be condemned. For our words will condemn us, yea, all our works will condemn us; we shall not be found spotless; and our thoughts will also condemn us; and in this awful state we shall not dare to look up to our God; and we would fain be glad if we could command the rocks and the mountains to fall upon us to hide us from his presence. 15  But this cannot be; we must come forth and stand before him in his glory, and in his power, and in his might, majesty, and dominion, and acknowledge to our everlasting shame that all his judgments are just; that he is just in all his works, and that he is merciful unto the children of men, and that he has all power to save every man that believeth on his name and bringeth forth fruit meet for repentance.”

“What can we learn by Near Death Experiences”.

There is a new movie that just came out in October 2023 at Theatres in the United States, called “After Death”. As the advertisement for the movie reads, “After Death” is a gripping film that explores the afterlife based on real near-death experiences, conveyed by scientists, authors, and survivors. From the New York Times bestselling authors who brought you titles like 90 Minutes in Heaven, Imagine Heaven, and To Heaven and Back, emerges a cinematic peek into the unknown that examines the spiritual and scientific dimensions of mortality, inviting viewers to contemplate the possibility of life after death.” Below are some direct quotes and notes from the trailer and movie that I wrote down, from different characters in it who had an “out of body experience”, and from narrators of the movie.

After a small airplane pilot had mechanical problems with his airplane, and crashed, he said: “I found myself above the crash site, and I could see a pilot and it was me.”    Someone who researched a lot of these Near Death Experiences, said, “The near death experiences typically occur in a very consistent process. The first thing that happens, is called an ‘out of body experience’, and they come to a place of exquisite beauty. They very commonly see a light and deceased relatives come to greet them. One described the following, “The first person I saw was my grandpa.”   “Not every near death experience is a good one. 23% had hellish experiences” said one who studied about the out of body experiences.   Another said, “I heard a voice saying, ‘You still have a purpose on earth.’  Another said, “I never felt alive and then dead. I felt alive and then more alive.”   Another witness in the hospital said, “Even though they were unconscious, they were able to give corroborative evidence” of what was happening in the operating room.  Another said, “This really does show that there is life after Death.”  “They realize they still have a spirit body.” Many have a life review. “My whole life flashed in front of me.”  “They showed me my life in chronological order.”  “They often have an experience from this God of light and love, that is more loving than anything they have ever experienced.”  “I told my wife it is all love. It is an ocean of love, and you need to get involved in that ocean of love.”  “I realize that everyone is chasing different things, money, fame, etc. But for those who come back, they realize all that matters is love and sharing it with others. That is all that matters to God.”  “What we say and the choices we make matter.”  “When my time on earth is over, I know loved ones will be there to greet me.”  “None of them want to go back” (to their life on earth). “They lose their fear of death.”  “I died instantly on the bridge when semi hit me. I felt more alive than I had ever felt.”  “I felt myself leaving my body.”   A Budhist from South Korea said, “I know one thing. We live once and die once, and there is judgment after.”  “They were often up close to the ceiling watching the doctors work on reviving their bodies.”   “She began to speak details about her operation, describing details that she should not know.”  “Heaven is light, God is light. There are no earthly words that do justice in describing how beautiful Heaven is.”   “I recognized this group of people who greeted me and welcomed me.”  “The music was amazingly beautiful. It was the most vivid thing that had ever happened to me.”

I have always been fascinated by reading articles and books from people who have had what has become known as “Near Death Experiences” or “Out of body experiences”, – – – where their spirit had temporarily left their bodies while on an operating table in the hospital, etc.  The reason I have loved those true stories so much, is because they match so beautifully what our Christian Church teaches – – – about how we will be greeted by loving family members, who have passed on before us, and how it will be such a joyful and wonderful experience departing this earth-life to a better life.

However, I used to listen to Christian radio quite often, until I kept hearing too much anti-Church of Jesus Christ false slander from pastors who were taught that slander in their Bible colleges, and believed it without checking out what we actually believe and teach. I heard some pastors teach that we should not believe that these “Near Death” experiences and stories are real – –  that keep getting spread around, – – – even though thousands have experienced very similar things, while their spirits were out of  their bodies for a time when on the operating table, etc., and then coming back into their bodies. And why don’t these Christian Pastors like or trust the real “Near Death” experiences of others, especially because thousands of people all over the world have experienced and learned very similar beautiful things while out of their bodies? And so many could describe in detail things that happened in the operating room of the hospital, etc., while their spirit was temporarily separated from their bodies. There is too much consistent evidence to just call it fake stories, that should not be trusted or believed, – – – just because it does not match some of the interpretations of the Bible from the modern day Christian pastors.

Obviously, to most of these modern day Christian Pastors, it does not make sense that people who in their mind, have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior before they died, would be greeted by loving family members, and loving greetings from other messengers of God, while out of their bodies – – – when they were taught at their Bible Colleges about the One Heaven and One Hell Plan for the forever future of all of the children of God. They would rather keep believing that everyone including good and kind-hearted people, who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior before they die, will be going to suffer forever in Hell – – –  not be greeted with so much love by messengers of God, and family members, and others who have passed on there earlier.

And while their spirit was out of their bodies, they experience very fascinating and interesting things, before they are revived back to life and their spirits returned to their bodies. In one book I read, the author said something like, “I looked down from above the operating table, and watched the doctors working trying to revive me, and I was later able to tell them exactly what was done and said while I was out of my body. There are many common denominators that they describe that they experienced while out of their bodies. One thing that impresses me the most, is that they experience amazing love from God and from messengers from God, and from loving deceased family members who greeted them.  Some were told that their mission on earth was not over, and that they should return to their bodies. Most described that they felt so much love from deceased family members and others there, that they did not want to leave the loving place they were, and go back into their bodies. Each of them seemed to learn that by far the most important thing of all is our relationships with God, self, family members and others, and that we should share love and kindness toward every child of God – – – which of course perfectly matches what Jesus Christ taught in the Bible, about the two most important commandments being to love and serve God, and to love and serve our fellow men.

In one book that I read, from a lady who experienced and learned a lot of beautiful truths from departed family members and others, while out of her body, she said that after she came back into her body, she wanted to find the Church that taught the principles and things that she learned. She searched quite a lot, and she did eventually find the church that taught the beautiful truths that she learned while out of her body, and it was The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, which she did very thankfully join. She said that there were about 40 beautiful truths that she had learned while out of her body, that so very beautifully matched the teachings of our Church.

I was very near death for a few weeks, while I was in the hospital for two months in November and December 2000 from a severe car accident; but in my case, my spirit was not out of my body that I know of. However, after my two months of barely hanging on to life in the hospital, I was even more convinced that loving and serving God and my fellow men was the most important thing for all of us to focus on – – – as Jesus taught regarding the two most important commandments.

Do you agree that the Commandments of God are Of God, not of man!”

Because the commandments are from God; obviously, no one but God, has the authority to retract or change any of His commandments, isn’t that true? Is it also true that they are commandments of God, not just suggestions of God? He lovingly gave them to us, because they are so very important for our happiness, inner-peace, love, joy, progress, relationships with Him, self, family members and others, etc.

Let’s please pause to consider some of the 100 or more commandments of God that He gave to us through his prophets and apostles in Bible times, such as:

The 10 Commandments as given to Moses by God in Exodus chapter 20, and listed as # 1 to 10 below:

1. You shall have no other Gods before me.

2.  You shalt not make for yourself idols and worship them.

3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God.

4.  Remember the Sabbath by keeping it holy.

5. Honor your father and mother.

6 You shall not murder.

7. You shall not commit adultery.

8. You shall not steal.

9. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.

(Wouldn’t this world be such a more joyful place if everyone just followed these 10    commandments, and the next two below)

11.  The First Great Commandment that Jesus taught to Love and serve God unselfishly with all of your heart, might, mind, and strength – – – when asked what is the most important commandment.

12. The 2nd Great Commandment that Jesus taught to love and serve our neighbors – – our fellow men, unselfishly with real love and without expecting anything in return.

13. The Golden Rule: Matthew 7:12:  “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them.”

14.  Provide for your own family’s physical needs: 1 Timothy 5:7-8 teaches us: “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. (Christians historically used the term infidel to refer to people who actively opposed Christianity).

15. Don’t abuse a child:  Matthew 18: 6:   “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”

16.  You need to have Charity (the pure love of Jesus Christ):  1 Corinthians 13:2:   “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.” And verses 4 – 6 & 13:   “ Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;  Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth . . . And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

17. Accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, recognizing that without Him and His Atonement and sacrifices for us; none of us could ever qualify for any reward in Heaven.  (As active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, we absolutely believe that each of us must follow that necessary commandment in order to be saved in Heaven, and we do accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, and we try to pattern our lives after Him and His joy-producing  and love-producing teachings each day of our lives. However, we do not believe that the Bible backs the idea that has been taught in Christianity for at least the past few hundred years that it must be before a person steps out of their body/dies. – – – because that obviously would not be fair at all, to the majority of God’s children, who have lived on earth without ever even hearing of a Bible or of Jesus Christ.

18. Blessed are the meek. – – (Jesus counseling us to be meek.)  Matthew 5: 5

19. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness. Matthew 5:6

20. Blessed are the merciful. (Jesus counseling us to be merciful) Matthew 5: 7

21. Blessed are the pure in heart.  (Jesus counseling us to be pure in heart) Matthew 5:8

22. Blessed are the peacemakers  (Jesus counseling us to be peacemakers) Matthew 5:9

23. Do not look on a woman to lust after her. Matthew 5: 28 (including viewing porno).

24: Love everyone including your enemies, and even pray for your enemies: Matthew 5: 44   – 46: “But I (Jesus) say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven, for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same?”

We won’t try to list all of the 100 or more commandments of God taught to us in the Bible.   Jesus clearly taught us which two commandments are the most important, – –  of loving and serving God, and loving and serving our fellow men, and how they in a way encompass all others, because for example, if you truly love and serve God and love and serve your fellow-men unselfishly; then you will obviously follow the 10 commandments to: not kill, not lie, not bear false witness, not steal from your neighbor on-line or any other way, not commit adultery, not offend or abuse a child, and you will be meek, merciful, pure in heart, peace-makers, love every child of God as He does with a pure Christ-like love called “charity”, even those who are often rude, mean, and obnoxious.

Would you agree with Jesus Christ, when He taught that the two most important commandments of God, are that we truly love and serve God and love and serve our fellow men? – – – not just lip-service right?

Important questions:  Who authorized so many modern day Christian pastors to teach that commandment # 17 above (to accept  Jesus Christ as our Savior before the day you die) is the most important commandment; and the only commandment that you truly need to keep in order to receive the maximum reward in Heaven? And that if someone keeps all of the other commandments in the Bible, as also taught to them by the Light of Christ/conscience inner-guidance system, that they will be punished by suffering forever in Hell if they did not know anything at all about Jesus Christ before they died, and therefore did not accept Him as their Savior, until  they were in the Spirit world after they die? And how does that teaching match with this Bible verse below, and powerful clear lesson from Jesus Christ:

Matthew 7: 21-23:   “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, (lip service instead of loving actions) shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” – – – in other words, ye that don’t keep my commandments and think you can sin all you want, and just say, that you accept Jesus Christ as your Savior on your death-bed, and receive the maximum reward in Heaven – – – to them, Jesus will say, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

Yes, we all need to accept Jesus Christ and His atonement into our lives in order to receive any reward in any of the three degrees of glory – – – the Celestial (highest), Terrestrial, or Telestial, but that does not mean that we won’t also be judged and rewarded with increased inner peace, love, and joy, etc. for good works of sharing Christ-like love and service to others. I believe it was the well known and respected, Christian writer, C.S. Lewis, who said, that “grace and good works work together, and are both crucial like the two sides of a pair of scissors, that need to work together to work at all.

There are dozens of other commandments in the Bible, but for simplicity sake, let’s just assume that there are 100 commandments from God in the Bible.  Considering that the commandments of God, are of God; and almost all modern day Christian clergy teach that they don’t believe God will or has spoken to us through any prophets or apostles since Bible times to give us any new revelations from God; so who authorized any Christian clergy or others to start teaching that you really only need to keep one of the 100 commandments of God before the day you die, in order to receive the maximum reward in Heaven?  – – – meaning commandment # 17 above, – – – to just accept Jesus Christ as your Savior (lip service) before the day you die in order to go to Heaven to receive the maximum reward there?

And even if someone lived a sinful and selfish life, and on their death-bed they accept  Jesus as their Savior, like the thief on the cross, then they will receive the maximum reward in Heaven? One of the two thieves who were hanged on crosses next to Jesus said:  “And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:42-43

This little Bible quote is what most Christian pastors quote when they try to convince people that you really only need to keep commandment # 17 above, in order to go to Heaven to receive the maximum reward there. Yes, it is true that the thief was in the Spirit world the next day as Jesus promised him, and he was taught further there about the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ, but that does not mean that he necessarily qualified for the maximum reward in the highest degree in Heaven (Celestial Kingdom)  for keeping just that one commandment of accepting Jesus as His Savior on the last day of his life, does it? If the thief on the cross had not been super-lucky to meet Jesus just a couple of hours before he died; then would have he been sent to suffer forever in Hell? Yes, I know, the Christian pastors don’t come right out and say that you don’t need to at least try to keep any of the other 99 commandments, but by teaching that you only really need to keep commandment # 17 to go to Heaven, as they write on their pass out cards – – of accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior, and you can even do it on your death-bed in order to go to receive the maximum reward in Heaven; then it does not give a person near as much motivation to avoid and overcome evil temptations, does it? And if everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior, goes to receive their maximum same reward in Heaven as everyone else there, who got in by simply accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior on their death bed, then there is far less motivation to go the extra mile with extra effort at keeping all of the commandments of God.

I have known some people who have told me about when their mother or father or another loved one was dying, that they were able to get a Pastor out there just in time to help them to say that certain prayer before they died; and that it gave them peace of mind that their loved one accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior just before they died, because they had been taught that if they did not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior before dying, that they would suffer forever in Hell?

What if their Pastor, had been out of town, or too busy to make it there that day, before their loved one died, then would our loving, just, and fair Father in Heaven truly send their loved one to suffer forever in Hell – – –  simply because the pastor was too busy to help them say that prayer and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior on their deathbed that day? Under that death-bed repentance and accepting Jesus Christ as Savior teaching; would Adolf Hitler go to receive the maximum reward in Heaven if a convincing pastor convinced him on his death bed to repent and accept Jesus Christ as his Savior?

With that unfair “one Heaven and one hell plan”, you don’t even need to be good or develop self-control or genuine kindness, love, compassion, unselfish service, and other Christ-like qualities to go to receive the maximum reward in Heaven. And with that One Heaven and One Hell Plan, many of the worst and meanest and most abusive people would be rejoicing forever in Heaven, – – – just because a family member or pastor was able to get them to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior on their death bed, which makes no sense, does it? – – – that so many truly good, kind, and loving people would be suffering forever in Hell, while many abusive and mean people are forever rejoicing in Heaven!! Don’t you need to at least become mostly good, kind, and loving by the time you die, to receive the maximum reward in Heaven?

We had a super-sweet and kind-hearted Japanese lady, who lived with my wife and me, in our 15 bedroom elderly care home for about eight years, until she passed away at about age 98. We lived upstairs in the care home, and spent a lot of time with her, and knew her very well. She was so very kind to everyone, and all of our team members started calling her “auntie May” (not her real name), because she became like a very dear and loving aunt to all of us. When she finally passed away; Amparo and I asked one of our very kind and loving male caregivers, who was a committed and faithful Christian, if he thought that our sweet and kind-hearted auntie May, would go to Heaven or Hell? He said that she would not go to Heaven, because she had not  accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior before she died. We talked about Heaven and Hell, and I asked him if Hell was as comparably bad as a Nazi concentration camp. He admitted that his understanding from listening to modern day Christian pastors, was that Hell was a horrible place where people would suffer forever. I asked him; isn’t it true that when anyone does anything good, kind, or right that God blesses them with increased love, joy, and inner peace – – – no matter what our religious beliefs happen to be? And the root source of those feelings is from God, isn’t it? And when any of us does anything bad, mean, or wrong, we lose some of the real love, joy, and inner-peace in our lives, don’t we? I asked him to consider how auntie May was rewarded by God every day of her life with much love, joy, and inner-peace for her following the “Light of Christ” inner guidance from God, and being so very kind and loving toward everyone. Would our loving Father in Heaven suddenly change all of His reward system on the day her spirit stepped out of her body (death), and start punishing her forever in Hell, – – – for not figuring out before the day she died that she was supposed  to also accept Jesus Christ as her Savior?  Why couldn’t auntie May be taught about Jesus Christ and His gospel in the Spirit world, as the Bible clearly teaches, so she can follow commandment # 17 above, and accept Jesus Christ as her Savior there?

Anyone who would teach that an angel of a kind-hearted person, like Auntie May, who kept all of the commandments of God very well as taught to her by her “Light of Christ” inner-guidance system, except for accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior before the day she died, will be sent to be punished forever in Hell, and that a mean, abusive, dishonest, and selfish man who verbally accepts Jesus Christ as his Savior on his deathbed, will receive the maximum reward in Heaven; has not yet developed any sense of fairness and justice.

I personally know several people, who started to learn about Christianity, and they lost all interest when they were taught (by mis-informed Christian clergy or friends) that only those who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior before the day they died, will go to Heaven, and that everyone else including their kind and loving grandparents and other relatives who died before accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior, will go to be punished forever in Hell?  How many more of these people would accept Jesus Christ as their Savior while here on earth or in the Spirit world, if they are taught about God’s true Plan of Salvation/Happiness, as the true loving and fair Plan from God for the forever future of all of the children of God instead of the unfair One Heaven & One Hell concept? For any deep-thinker, whose ancestors were not Christians, how can they be expected by God or anyone else to be attracted to and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior,  if they are taught the false teaching, that their good and loving relatives, who did not have any opportunity to learn about and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior before they died, will go to suffer forever in Hell?

Of course, they will be given further opportunity to be taught the full truth of the loving and fair gospel of Jesus Christ after they die, and be allowed to accept Him as their Savior there. Anything less would not be fair, and would not be Biblical either. If you study it out carefully and prayerfully, I believe you will agree with millions of us Bible believing Christians, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, matches the Bible teachings better than any other Christian Church, because it was restored by and is still being led by Jesus Christ through His prophets and apostles.

Do you think that you could ever be completely at-peace and happy in Heaven, if the One Heaven & One Hell concept is true and enforced by God; and if you knew that some of your dear and loving family members and friends are suffering every minute of every day forever in Hell, just because they never learned about Jesus Christ or had an opportunity to even read a Bible before they died? Would that feel fair to you, and help you to have deep love and respect for a God, who would come up with and enforce such an unfair Plan?

Power quote:  “There are countless ways to be unhappy, because there are countless ways to go against the teachings of God as taught in the Bible, and in our Light of Christ inner-guidance system; but there is only one way to be truly happy, and that is by following the teachings of God as best we prayerfully can.”   Charles E. Hunt

Questions to ponder and pray about?

Do you believe that our loving Father in Heaven, and our Savior, Jesus Christ, are even nicer and more fair, loving, compassionate, and generous than you are – – – or any of us are?

Considering that even us children of God, as we are prayerful, recognize and sense within our inner spirit part of us with God’s help, that we should be loving, fair, compassionate, and even generous with our own children even when they are imperfect; doesn’t it make sense that God, who is inspiring us to be loving and fair and compassionate would have even more of those qualities Himself?

Would our loving and fair Father in Heaven really punish forever in Hell – – – all 17 million of us members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as the Christian Pastors were ignorantly taught in their Bible colleges? – – –  even though we study and follow the same Bible, and accept the same Jesus Christ as our Savior.    And also that the majority of God’s children in world history would supposedly suffer forever in Hell, who did not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior before they died, simply because they never had a Bible and never even heard of the name of Jesus Christ?

These same Christian Pastors teach that those who accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, will go to Heaven to receive the maximum reward there,- – –  even if they later make some mistakes of judgment or sins, so if you pause to really think about it, that would mean that the large percentage of the 200,000 to 300,000 people who join our Church each year, who are “born again saved Christians”, will still be “born-again saved Christians”, even if they later make the mistake of judgment of joining our Church, right? They will of course continue believing in the Bible and in Jesus Christ as their Savior as members of our Church  – – – as we do; so they will surely go to Heaven, according to what the modern day Christian Pastors teach about what it takes to be saved, right? – – – simply follow commandment # 17, right? – – – which we do. Or, do they consider it an unforgiveable sin for someone to join our Church and start believing that all 100 commandments of God are very important, not just # 17.  There is no logical consistency or justice in that false teaching, that the devil and his team have deceived and convinced so many Christians of!

Please pause to prayerfully and honestly ask yourself, would you be more motivated and thankful to enjoy a close, trusting, and loving relationship with the author of God’s Plan of Happiness (Plan A)?  Or with the author of the One Heaven & One Hell concept (Plan B)? Do you think it would likely be more difficult to truly enjoy a trusting and loving relationship with whoever the author is of the One Heaven & One Hell concept?

Please try to give your mind a clean slate and an open mind, and ponder and pray, and ask yourself and God; of these two Plans being taught in Christianity as the forever future for all of the children of God – – – with “Plan A” being God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation and “Plan B” being the One Heaven and One Hell Plan :

Which Plan truly feels right and most loving, compassionate, etc. to you – – – deep within the inner spirit part of you?

Now, please pause to ponder on some of the wonderful qualities and character traits of Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven as described in the Bible, such as perfect love, compassion, fairness, mercy, grace, forgiveness even of those who crucified him, wisdom, unselfishness, all-knowledge, etc.

Then, please pause to ponder on some of the horrible and mean character traits of the devil and his team, such as: selfishness, hate, deceitfulness, dishonesty, unfair and unjust, never keeps his promises, wants selfish unfair power over others, wants others to be miserable like he is, etc.

Now, please pause to consider if someone told you that one of these two Plans described in this chapter, was authored by our loving and fair Father in Heaven, and His Son, Jesus Christ, and the other one of these Plans, was authored by the devil and his team of deceivers; who would you believe authored each of these Plans?

Ask yourself, in all honesty, as a son or daughter of God, who has been given the gift and ability from  God of sensing what is right and fair, and what is not; which of the two Plans for the forever future of all of the children of God, do you personally like better?

And which Plan do you hope is God’s true Plan?

Considering the Christ-like qualities that we paused to ponder on that Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven have; which Plan do you think our loving Father in Heaven, and His Son, Jesus Christ like better?

Considering that God has all-knowledge and all-power to come up with and implement the most just, fair, loving and generous Plan, couldn’t He come up with a better Plan than the One Heaven and One Hell teaching being taught in most of modern day Christianity?

If the young farm boy with limited education, Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, were able to come up with a far better and more fair and just Plan, couldn’t God copy it, and implement that Plan instead of the one that started to be taught in the name of Christianity within a few hundred years after all of Jesus’ prophets and apostles were murdered?

As you prayerfully ponder on it, you may start to believe that just maybe that young farm boy, was called of God to be a prophet, as many millions of us Bible believing Christians (including me) testify, to straighten out the confusion, and to make God’s true Plan of Happiness/Salvation known, considering that the other Plan, really does not make God look or sound very fair or nice or loving, does it? And it is not easy to attract people to such an unfair Plan. However, there is very positive and uplifting Scripture power in the Bible, so people are drawn to the Bible when they start to read it, even though the Christian Pastors teach of the One Heaven and One Hell Plan that truly just does not make sense or feel fair to any fair minded person, who ponders and prays about it.

I testify in all sincerity, that God also brought forth the Book of Mormon, written by ancient prophets, to help straighten out a lot of misunderstandings going on in Christianity for hundreds of years, which is partly why there are hundreds of different Christian denominations, who don’t agree with each other. – – – which makes sense, when they don’t have any prophets or apostles to help us “all come in the unity of the faith” as described in the Bible verse, in Ephesians 4: 11-13:   “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.

Bible: Amos 3:7:   “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”

Isn’t it true that the Bible teaches us that God is the same yesterday, today and forever? So, why would God not call any prophets or apostles in these days, when there is so much confusion in the world and even in the various denominations of Christianity?

See Bible, Hebrews 13:8 to 9:  “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. ”

So, can you tell me, did God “change”, and start teaching that you really only need to keep just that one particular commandment in order to qualify for the maximum reward in Heaven – – – even if you mess up on the other 99 commandments, and you are mean, dishonest, abusive, selfish, and grouchy to others throughout your life? Is there any convincing proof from any of our modern day Bible Colleges or Christian pastors, that God approved that major change in doctrine, and basically saying that you really don’t need to keep any of the other 99 commandments in order to qualify for the maximum rewards in Heaven? Or, was it the devil and his team, who authored that major change in going from 100 or more important commandments to only needing to really keep one of God’s commandments in order to qualify for the maximum reward in Heaven?  – – –  doesn’t that feel and sound like something that the devil and his team would want to have spread all over? – – – in order to get children of God to be less firmly committed to keeping the other 99 commandments of God that may not be convenient for  them?

Can you see why maybe God may have felt that it was time in the early 1800’s for Him to call a prophet, and to bring forth the beautiful teachings from some of His ancient Book of Mormon prophets, and from a modern day prophet, in order to clear up some major misunderstandings and false concepts that were being taught in the name of Christianity?

Why did God ever allow all of His apostles and prophets to be murdered, that Jesus had called to serve in His Church? Back to that super important principle of “free agency” – – – the freedom to make our own good and bad/evil choices during our earth school and testing period. We could not progress and learn many of the much needed lessons in our earth-school, if we were only allowed to make good, kind, and loving choices – – – – and never any grouchy, mean, abusive dishonest, or evil choices; could we? If we were all “forced” to only make good choices, we would be “mere puppets” and slaves,  wouldn’t we? In order to understand it more clearly, prayerfully study my article on my website entitled ” Free agency: Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?”  You will start to understand that God always makes all of His choices and His Plan based on love. You will start to Love our amazing loving and fair Father in Heaven and our Savior, Jesus Christ, even more than you do now – – – not less love for God and His Son, as the devil and his team teach about the members of the Church of Jesus Christ.

Our Church leaders and Christian missionaries and members, don’t want to take anything away from any of you wonderful and loving Bible believing Christians that you already have. We just want to offer some principles from God through His prophets, that will help you to love the Bible even more, and to love God, and His Son, Jesus Christ, even more as you come to understand God’s full and amazingly fair and generous Plan of Happiness/Salvation clearly.

As you are pray and ponder: What do you personally like about Plan A & Plan B, and what do you not like about Plan A and Plan B?

What do you think God likes about Plan A & Plan B, and what He does not like about Plan A and Plan B?

As you pause to ponder and pray about it; have you ever heard of a Plan so beautiful, fair, just and loving as Plan A?

Have you ever heard of a Plan so unfair and unjust and merciless as Plan B?

Considering, who Jesus called as his apostles, fishermen and other tradesmen; not graduates of the Pharisee or Sadducee Bible schools of the day; and sometimes God called youth to be prophets such as Jeremiah or Samuel, who did not have pre-conceived notions and who were teachable, do you think that just maybe God might call a young lad like the humble, courageous, and kind-hearted 14 year old farm-boy Joseph Smith as a prophet, or spokesperson for God, to help bring forth some important and precious truths?

Do you think that the young farm-boy with limited education, Joseph Smith, may have had some help from God to come up with Plan A, and that just maybe God may have used him as a prophet, to help teach God’s true Plan for the forever future of all of the children of God?

Did the Old Testament Bible schools in the day of Jesus, such as the Pharisees and Saducees, accept Jesus Christ and his apostles as being from God and speaking the truth? – – Obviously not, right?

Is there anything in the Bible that says that there will never be any more teachings from any other prophets of God other than the Bible? – – – clearly not, even though many Pastors twist one single Bible verse, to try to prove that fallacy, that does not match the rest of the Bible.

If I, or preferably one of the far more knowledgeable Bible scholars in our church were to have a respectful public debate with Pastors of another Christian church focusing on just Plan A and Plan B for the forever future of the dearly beloved children of God; and about which one matches the Bible and the love, compassion, mercy, forgiveness, fairness  etc. of God and Jesus Christ better, which side do you think would win the debate? – – – if everyone present at the end of the debate were to give their sincere honest private written vote – – — regarding which plan they personally liked better, and which Plan felt more to them like the Plan that God would come up with as they quietly pondered and prayed about it?

Please pause to consider; if you were asked to lead one side of the debate, which Plan would you prefer to try to convince the audience of – – – as God’s Plan for the forever future of all of the dearly beloved children of God?

To tell you the truth, with the study of the Bible that I have personally done, and with what God has helped me to sense inside of the inner spirit part of me about his love, fairness, compassion, forgiveness, etc.; I would hate to be stuck trying to defend Plan B of the “One Heaven and One Hell” concept with the Bible, wouldn’t you?

How can you defend such a Plan as being truly loving, fair, just, compassionate, and from God, etc.?

Do you think that just maybe the devil and his team came up with Plan B, and the concept that you only really only need to keep just one commandment of God, to qualify for the highest reward in Heaven, and tried to convince the Christian clergy and Bible Colleges, that that Plan was from God after Jesus and all of his apostles and prophets were murdered? If a pretty, but sleazy lady without strong integrity, principles, and values, is trying to convince a man to have an affair, isn’t it a whole lot easier for him to resist such temptations, if he knows that it is still very important and crucial that he keeps the 10 commandments and the other commandments of God, including “Thou shalt not commit adultery”?

Wouldn’t it be a whole lot easier to attract children of God to Plan A than to Plan B? And to truly desire and enjoy a relationship with our loving Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ as the authors of Plan A, rather than with whoever authored Plan B?

Isn’t it amazing how fast The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has grown all over the world,  – – –  in spite of the fact that  there are literally many millions all over the world spreading the false slander that the Book of Mormon is evil and that Joseph Smith was evil and that our 70,000 missionaries out at a time and our members are so evil, that everyone should avoid them like the plague?

Who is the root source of such false slander still being spread all over the world?

There are also millions  of us committed Bible-believing followers of Jesus Christ all over the world, who would rather die than to ever deny our testimony that the Bible is true, and the Book of Mormon also, and that Jesus Christ is our Savior, and of God’s loving Plan of Salvation/Happiness.

Considering how the devil and his minions somehow influenced the clergy of the day in the 1500’s to burn loving parents to death at the stake, for simply reading the Bible in their own language to their children; or trying to put the Bible in the hands of the people; do you think that maybe the devil and his minions may have also influenced the clergy in the 1830’s and others since then, to believe that the Book of Mormon was evil and should not be read by anyone – – – even though many millions of us Bible believing Christians are convinced by study and much prayer that it came to us from God through His true prophets?

Important Questions to Ponder On:

If you were new to Christianity, and someone told you that one of the two plans was authored and approved by our loving and fair Father in Heaven, and one was authored and approved by the devil: which Plan would you say was authored by each one?

If you were ever to serve as a Christian missionary, as my dear wife and I are enjoying doing, in Loja, Ecuador; would you prefer to be asked to try to lovingly convince children of God of God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation (Plan A) or of the One Heaven & One Hell Plan? (Plan B)

Which Plan for the forever future of God’s children, do you believe would be easier to attract people to?   There is one reason, why the Plan of Salvation/Happiness is quite hard to convince people of, and that is because of what the prophet Moroni, prophesied to the young 17 year old farm boy, Joseph Smith, that the name of Joseph Smith, and the Book of Mormon, would be had for both good and evil all over the world. The devil and his team have been working very hard to spread the false hearsay all over the world that the Book of Mormon is not from God, and the other false hearsay about our Church and people, to try to keep people from checking out what we actually teach and believe, and to keep people as isolated away from us as possible.

“But Charles, how can I know for myself with certainty which Plan is of God for the forever future of all of His dearly beloved children, and which Plan is not? The best proof source that God has given us, to know for certain if Jesus Christ did restore His Church upon the earth with the fullness of His gospel through the prophet, Joseph Smith, is to do a prayerful and serious study of “The Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ.” If the Book of Mormon is true and from God through some of His ancient prophets, and translated by the prophet, Joseph Smith, in 1830, then surely that is clear proof that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, and that God’s Plan of Happiness/Salvation” (Plan A) truly is God’s Plan for the forever future of all of His children. And what could be better news than that beautiful Plan of Salvation from God, that is so very fair, loving, compassionate, and just? – –  And that provides for the blessed opportunity for loving families to be together forever.

Please keep in mind, that I consider myself a pretty typical active member of our Church, but certainly not one of the leaders or scriptural scholars of our Church, who are far more knowledgeable than I am about the details of the doctrines of our Church. Certainly, I have made some errors in this book about some details of our Church doctrines, and I alone am responsible for any errors I have made. Nothing I have written in this book is in any way authorized or approved as official doctrines or teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Also, I don’t want to offend anyone in any of my writings in this book. I certainly understand why the majority of the modern day Christian clergy believe that our Church is not a Christian Church, and is evil, because that is what they were ignorantly taught in the Bible colleges, by teachers who have also been taught these same false hearsays against us for almost 200 years, and they were taught to avoid us and the Book of Mormon like a plague, and to teach those in their congregations to do the same. I believe that most of the Christian Pastors, who believe the huge assortment of negative false hearsay about our Church and the Book of Mormon, are good people, who mean well, but just assumed that the false hearsay they were told about us was true, so they never prayerfully studied with an open mind into what our Church and the Book of Mormon actually teaches.

I lovingly plead with each of you readers, to please check out what The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints actually teaches, and what “The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ” actually teaches and is, and listen to our young dedicated and loving missionaries – –  instead of relying on false negative slander. You will be so very glad that you did, as millions of others are, who chose to check it out.  Please go on our Church website:   ChurchofJesusChrist.org   and you can request a free Book of Mormon and/or Bible, and learn many important truths on that website about what our Church actually teaches and is.

About 20,000 people choose to enter into a baptismal covenant each month to give a more focused effort to follow Jesus Christ for the rest of their lives. Just imagine how many more thousands or tens of thousands would enter into a covenant committed relationship with Jesus Christ each month if we together can help everyone to know the truth about the beautiful teachings we teach from both the Bible and the Book of Mormon vs. the 200 years of lies and slander that the devil and his team have been spreading all over the world.  Consider how the Plan of Happiness is so much more enticing and motivating to help people who are new to Christianity to desire a close relationship with our Father in Heaven and His Son, Jesus Christ, than the One Heaven and One Hell plan that the devil and his team started spreading centuries ago that makes God sound like not a very fair or loving individual, doesn’t it?

If you have been taught and believed “Plan B the One Heaven and One Hell Plan”, as being from God, and you still want to believe that plan, after prayerfully reading this article; then please understand that I don’t want to offend any of you or pull anyone away at all from Christianity. Even though Plan B doesn’t sound very loving or fair, God is loving and far more than fair.  The Bible is true, and teaches us so very many beautiful truths, even though there were many changes made in the Bible before and after it was compiled together, and many important truths were lost. And it is interpreted wrong in so many areas.

If you are a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, who was or is being pulled away from the Church by false slander, please look further at the real facts, and study the Book of Mormon very prayerfully and ask God if it is from Him and true. And if you are being pulled away, where will you go?

After prayerfully reading the Bible verses and information in my article called “Power Quotes from the Bible, etc. that help you know you are a dearly beloved child of God”, where else in Christianity will you find the beautiful truth that we lived as spirit children of God before coming to our earth-school and testing period?

Without understanding where we came from as spirit children of God, and why He sent us here on earth, and where we are going after we leave this life; it is hard to find real purpose in our lives, and to fulfill that purpose.

And where else in Christianity, will you find the beautiful truths being taught regarding “God’s Plan of Happiness for the forever future of all of the children of God?  Can you say that you honestly prefer and believe that God prefers the One Heaven and One Hell Plan” for the forever future of all of the children of God?

Where else will you find living prophets and apostles? And why would God not have living prophets and apostles today?

If you don’t know what they teach and if they are truly living prophets and apostles or not; then start listening to their Conference talks on our Church website:   ChurchofJesusChrist.org  to find out the beautiful truths they actually teach?
