At Christ Centered Sports & Games Club, we believe that following the teachings of Jesus Christ leads to a more joyful and fulfilling life. Our mission is to help individuals experience real joy and build trusting and loving relationships through Christ centered activities.
The Power of Christ-Centered Living
The commandments of God are beautifully designed by Him to bring us more joy and improve all of our relationships. For example, the first four of the ten commandments help us improve our relationship with God, and the next six help us improve all of our relationships with others. And Jesus Christ taught that the first and second most important commandments are to love and serve God and our fellow men, which of course improves those relationships.
Experiencing the Fruits of the Spirit
Through careful study, prayer, and observance, we have found that the teachings of Jesus Christ lead to spiritual gifts such as love, joy, and inner peace. These gifts are worth far more than anything money can buy, and they enrich our lives in ways that worldly possessions cannot.
Choosing Joy Over Temptation
The devil offers enticements that promise happiness in wickedness but deliver only misery and regret. In contrast, the teachings of Jesus Christ offer true joy and fulfillment. As Abraham Lincoln said, "When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad." God encourages us to choose kindness and love, while the devil entices us with actions that damage relationships and lead to addiction and regret.
